West Point Wedding – Leigh & Braden
Here is a little sneak peek of Leigh and Braden’s West Point wedding! You may remember from their wintery Americana Times Square engagement portrait session that Braden is a West Point cadet who is now home after serving in Afghanistan. He was very excited to propose to and marry his true love once he was home!
Leigh got ready at the historical Thayer Hotel near West Point academy before the wedding ceremony at the West Point chapel. They partook in a beautiful Saber Arch Post Ceremony after their vows and then headed off with me for the wedding portraits at Trophy Point. We enjoyed a wonderfully picturesque view of the Hudson River before heading over to the reception at the West Point Officers Club.
Leigh asked me to focus on capturing their emotions, especially during significant moments such as their First Look inside the chapel. These are once in a lifetime moments and I was honored to be trusted with recording them in such a photojournalistic style. The bride and groom made it easy for me; they wore their emotions on their sleeves and were an absolute joy to photograph.
I’ll be sharing the full slideshow soon, so keep an eye out for the upcoming post! In fact, becoming a fan of Chris Leary Photography on Facebook will ensure updates on all future slideshows. Congratulations, Leigh and Braden!
