Liz & Rich’s Traditional Roman Catholic Wedding Ceremony
I had such a wonderful time shooting Liz and Rich’s Central Park engagement portraits over the summer; who knew it could get even better?! Their fall wedding was complete perfection, from their artful church to the intensely colored leaves of the season and even to the dramatic clouds in the sky.
The couple got ready at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, New York and then made their way to the Saint Peter of Alcantara church for a traditional Roman Catholic wedding ceremony. Liz was a vision standing at the altar in her Paloma Blanca gown. This was another moment where I couldn’t imagine anything better as a photographer.
Until, that is, we left the church in search of the perfect wedding portrait site. Before heading to the wedding reception at Harbor Links Golf Course, Liz and Rich found themselves standing before an amazing dusk lit sky. The newlyweds, the silhouetted trees and clouds that looked as though they’d fallen from a painting made for one of my all-time favorite photos!
You’ll have to wait for the slideshow to see their beautiful reception, but I’ll let you in on a little secret: they danced to a Beatles song! Does anyone want to take a guess at which one it was? Check back soon to find out!
Congratulations, Liz and Rich!
