Times Square Engagement Shoot – Leigh & Braden
Homecomings are reason enough to celebrate, but add an engagement to the mix and you’re likely to find undeniably happy faces like those of Leigh and Braden.
Braden, a West Point cadet, recently returned home after a tour of duty in Afghanistan. In the spirit of true Americana nostalgia, we did a modern take on the infamous black and white Life magazine photo depicting a sailor kissing a nurse in the middle of Times Square.
The thing that I love most about Leigh and Braden’s Times Square engagement shoot is that everyone around them seems oblivious to their love. With all of the hustle and bustle of a busy NYC hot spot, they are in essence the only two people in the world. These are shots of magical moments that this couple will never forget!
We also did a series of beautiful snow-laced portraits in Central Park. Braden and Leigh were such a joyful duo as they walked through the park in cozy coats and boots. They were beautiful, stylish and absolutely wonderful to work with. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this August at West Point’s cadet chapel!
