Engagement In Central Park – Rebekah & Kendrick
This is definitely the year for West Point cadet engagements! First, we saw Leigh and Braden’s Time Square engagement session after Braden returned home from a tour in Afghanistan. Now, Rebekah and Kendrick are celebrating their engagement in Central Park. Interestingly, Rebekah once lived in Manhattan, Kansas. How many Manhattans are there in the world?!
Kendrick and Rebekah have a sweet love story that began when they were just 10 years old! Having grown up on military bases with their families, these two are perfect for one another. As most of us know, military families go through many moves and changes. Having a constant in life, such as a childhood sweetheart, is something to be treasured.
We spent the day of their shoot touring Central Park’s most romantic spots. We strolled through the Mall, Kendrick in uniform and Rebekah wearing a beautiful smile. As you can see, they were incredibly photogenic and playful! From there we found a tunnel that was perfect for creating one of my signature shots: the romantic silhouette. *The lamppost in the background was an added bonus!
I had an amazing day with this couple! I won’t be seeing them again until their wedding at the West Point Cadet Chapel next May. I can’t wait for our 2014 reunion!
