Bronx Botanical Garden Wedding – Deirdre & Mike
Garden weddings are always gorgeous, but botanical garden weddings are on a whole other plane! Lush trees and fragrant flowers create an interactive wedding experience as all of the guests’ senses are engaged. It’s a truly special experience, and I’ve decided that Bronx botanical garden wedding photography is my newest passion!
Deirdre and Mike, a wonderful couple from San Francisco, decided upon a NYC destination wedding and asked me to photograph their New York Botanical Garden wedding (and you know how much I love to shoot New York City destination weddings). Deirdre actually attended Fordham University which is directly across the street from the gardens, so in a way it was as though she were getting married in her own backyard.
The couple snuck a quick First Look in front of the Conservatory before the dusk wedding began and then they made their way to the Garden Terrace room where they were wed in a sweet Catholic ceremony. The Garden Terrace room was simple yet elegant, and the aisle was lined with light colored rose petals and rows of lit lanterns.
Deirdre looked radiant in her strapless gown on the arm of her dapper groom. It wasn’t long before they sealed their vows with a kiss and began to celebrate with family and friends. Everything was absolutely picturesque as I captured rose gardens and serene trails, candlelight and impressive floral arrangements. It was a night to remember!
Congratulations, Deirdre and Mike!
