When you’re out searching for a wedding photographer, you’ll discover that not only are there various photographic styles and approaches to wedding photography, but also many choices to display the final photography, especially albums. One of the companies that I offer is Queensberry, and they have an interesting product called the “duo album”. The duo album contains pages that are both matted and digital flush mounted – the perfect compromise for couples who can’t decide on whether they want a contemporary or classic style album – it’s both!
The above picture shows a current sample of mine: a 12X12 – 20 sided, Queensberry album with a 7X7 digital copy parent album.
This picture shows that the left page has one full size flush mounted image, and on the right, there are several detail shots that are matted.
The digital copy parent album is an exact copy of the couple’s wedding album in regard to picture content but scaled down in physical size (in this case a 7X7 album). NOTE – copy albums do not contain any matted pages, they are only digital pages.
Queensberry offers a variety of cover choices, for this particular sample album I chose an 1/2 photo front cover. Very simple, very elegant.
