It’s a new year and like many of you, I’ve started to think about how to do things differently than the year before. For me it’s how to be a better husband, to be a better Dad to my son and to look at life in a new light. Over the holidays I got caught up on some episodes of Oprah. I like Oprah, she’s an amazing person. What I noticed is that she is very “giving” and often tells her viewers that they should also give as much as they can and in as many ways that they can. She talks about how it enriches her life. I asked myself, what could I do to make a difference in someone’s life? And the answer is pretty simple – I’m a wedding photographer and I could donate my talent! So, here is what I would like to give one lucky couple:
- 8 hours of photography by Chris Leary and my second photographer
- Location needs to be within 60 mile radius of NYC
- Extensive photography coverage, 3000 to 4000 pictures taken
- I will edit the photos to approximately 800 – 1200 final proof selections
- All final proofs will be categorized (bride prep, ceremony, formals, etc) for viewing ease
- Final proofs displayed online at www.pictage.com- you can keep private or share with family & friends
- One signed 11×14 gallery print of your favorite image
- And a copy of all the high resolution digital negatives on a DVD
Here is what you have to do:
- Email chris@chrislearyweddings.com a note, pictures, drawings, a video clip that expresses your love for each other
- Play off the theme: Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue
- Be creative and have fun!
I will begin to accept your entries immediately and will end the submission process on 11:59 pm on Thursday, February 12th 2009. I will then announce the winner on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2009. Also, please register your wedding date at: http://www.chrislearyweddings.com/contest and if I am not available on your particular date, I will let you know promptly.
