Monthly Archives: August 2008Elisa and Saysana were married on July 12, 2007 up in Bloomfield, CT. They had a message for their guests that described their outlook on life – “how far we travel in life matters far less than those we meet along the way…” It definitely was a joyous occasion, especially when some of the groom’s friends got him to do a little “breakdancing”. Congratulations Elisa and Saysana!
Here is another recent wedding slideshow! Anne-Marie and Matthew were married on June 28, 2008 in Rye, NY. It was a hot, steamy Saturday afternoon, beautiful church ceremony (bagpipes – I love the bagpipes!) During the receiving line outside the church, the sky darkened, thunder rumbled and then it down poured! The rain only set us back about 20 minutes, then the sky cleared (the temperature didn’t drop!) and the rest of the day was picture perfect -check out the sunset shot. The reception was held at Shenorock Shore Club in Rye – what a fantastic spot for a reception (or even wedding ceremony) – the beach is one of my favorite spots to photograph. The following slideshow is of Afiya & Devin’s final album design. They chose a 12X12 Queensberry duo album with 36 sides and 143 pictures! They were married last August at the Glen Island Harbor Club in New Rochelle, NY. I loved being a part of their wedding day, starting out in Harlem with Afiya’s pre wedding pictures and ending at the club with a beautiful last dance. I got some amazing pictures from their wedding, some of which you may have noticed that I’ve used to promote my business and I also even placed in one of WPJA‘s quarterly contest.
 Here is a new studio sample album from Graphistudio – an Italian wedding album manufacturer. This sample is an 8X8 album, single picture per page, black polished metal cover and etched personalization. This album is 30 pages / 60 sides, and is currently offered as one option in my “Silk Tie” wedding package. Graphistudio offers a variety of printing paper options as well as several choices in cover materials from silk, metals and leathers. One great feature with Graphistudio albums is that they use a continuous printing and binding system that allows the album to lay flat when opened so that every spread has a minimal gutter allowing great panoramas.
