I had a wonderful week, celebrating the holidays with my family and friends, and however you celebrated the season, I hope you too had fun. Last night, my wife and I held our annual kids new year’s eve, where 8 pm officially begins the new year. As I sipped a delicious Haitian krema and watched the children run through the apartment, dumping food and juice as they chased, I thought about my life and reflected on where I am today. I had faced many many challenges in the last tens years, and while some caused struggle and strife, all have given me the inspiration and the tools to face the future. Does this new sense of confidence mean that I may be getting wiser? Only time will tell. I celebrated the past decade with two major mile markers – I got married in 2002 and became a father in 2004. I’ve said it in the past and I’ll say it again – I’m a lucky guy. I can’t help but be excited to see what is in store for the next ten years of my life! What about you?
So as 2009 passes and I prepare for the new year, I want you all to know that I’m truly grateful. You honor me and my family and I can’t thank you enough. I wish you the best for 2010 and hope the next decade brings you the same joy and happiness that surrounds me.

Happy holidays, everyone!
